Hello everyone. I'm not sure if I am doing this right.
I have a unique portrait opportunity for someone who wants to add some amazing people to their portrait portfolio.
Changing the World Conference brings together the world's greatest visionaries to
inspire young people to innovate and better our world. The topics covered
include: technology, science, design, entrepreneurship, philanthropy,
and the arts. Among this year's speakers are:

We need someone to take portraits of our 15 VIPs at 6:45pm at the Bahen Center at U of T. Simple B&W type headshots. Ideal candidates have their own camera as well as suitable lights and a dark backdrop.
We are also looking for someone to take action shots of these speakers and the audience on Saturday the 15th at Convocation Hall U of T campus.
So I call him up and asked a few questions. Then the million dollar question is asked: "What's your budget" for this?
Oh, this is a trade gig. You get to keep the pictures in your portfolio.
Breaking News: WE GET TO KEEP THAT STUFF IN THE PORTFOLIO REGARDLESS! It's MY picture to begin with; of course I get to keep it in my portfolio. Do these ppl talk for "trade" in their portfolio?
Charging 500 bucks for tickets, and you have the balls to tell me it's for trade?

| A glorious weekend here in the GTA. FINALLY, spring is here. Changed tires for three cars on Saturday and snapped this picture :D
Had lesson # 2 today with Leelee. Today was about chaining the stuff we did last week with the walk. Thanks Chris for showing me the walk when I was in HK. I was kinda stuck at one point until it dawned on me that what I was doing today was the same walk you showed me that night in one of your classes :D After that, it all came together.

| Went to my first tango lesson last sunday, and it was a BLAST. Much thanks to Chris for giving me a glimpse of Tango in HK when I went back there last time.
Struck me as hilarious when one of the partners asked me to "let's work on the knee bend she was talking about." I was SO tempted to ask her "do you work on your knee bend when you WALK?" WTF, get all that technical stuff out of your head and just DANCE. If you keep thinking about the knee bend, it's not going to bend and you're just going to look stiff. Why people can't just trust their body and instinct is beyond my comprehension :p
Can't wait till lesson 2

| Planning for probably my biggest career move since I started in this field of work.
Would require relocation across the pond, but it'll open up SO many doors with the experience I gain from this, it should be worth it.
Fingers crosssed. I have all the requirements they're looking for, so now it's just playing the waiting game.
